Organizations applying for funds must meet the eligibility criteria (MS Word).
The yearly funding cycle will target specific areas of need in the communities we serve. Applications for funding must be made to one of the following funding categories. Organizations may apply to more than one category. A full application and attachments must be submitted for each category. Rarely will more than one application will be funded for an Organization.
- Successful Kids
- Examples: Day care, after school programs, programs that build skills, confidence and character, programs that provide counseling, group support and mentoring.
- Tools for Independence
- Examples: Addiction intervention and treatment, transportation, services to seniors and disabled, counseling, networking and referrals.
- Emergency Assistance
- Examples: Crisis line, emergency shelter, food baskets and hot meals, clothing and other basic needs, disaster relief.
Organizations being considered for funding will be requested to host a site visit and conference with the Community Investment Committee reviewing their application. Organizations will be expected to have key staff, board and volunteers present at that conference.
